The Ugnayan Lakas ng mga Apektadong Pamilya-Women (ULAP Women) has begun talks for its community mapping initiatives led by APOAMF’s president Madeline Suarez last July 7, 2022.

Community mapping is a process where community members will seek information to understand the various issues affecting their community.

These will be done by grassroots communities that have been directly affected by these challenges. From here, they will also gather information from other community members to ensure that all sides are heard.

They will then start taking other initiatives on these issues such as raising awareness, organizing, and collaborating with organizations to resolve these issues.

The participants believe that it is important to talk about these problems for them to be fixed. Community mapping is just one of the activities APOAMF partake in for the community.
