More than 2,000 from the urban poor community celebrated the yearly “Panunuluyan of the Urban Poor” by expressing their support for presidential aspirant Leni Robredo last December 15, 2021.

It started in front of the Office of the Vice President and ended at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Cubao, where they held a mass led by Fr. Robert Reyes.

Apart from wearing pink, participants also brought their parol with their written pleas for the poor. Decent, permanent at affordable housing; job and livelihood security; and good governance for 2022 are some of the wishes shown.

People impersonating Mary and Joseph can also be seen on top of a vehicle with a parol that aims to symbolizes hope.
