As Metro Manila eased its COVID-19 restrictions when Alert Level 1 kicked in, the teens of Armel, Sta. Lucia can now be seen in public courts playing sports.
The youth of LRB and players of the NMVC are elated with this. However they also said that they are not used to playing basketball and volleyball like they used to after staying indoors for almost two years.
Now, they only hope that things can get back to normal soon.
UPWARD UP is spearheaded by academics from the Ateneo de Manila University, De la Salle University, and Katholieke Universiteit Leuven for the Alliance of People’s Organizations along the Manggahan Floodways. (english version)
